Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel, Jersey
The 6-storey Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel development was constructed on reclaimed land beside Elizabeth Marina on St. Aubin’s Bay, Jersey.
We were appointed to design the mechanical, electrical, public health, and lift services for the project, also overseeing installations and on-site commissioning. Much of the electrical and mechanical plant we specified was assembled and tested in the UK before being shipped to Jersey; this prefabricated technology contributed to the project being completed nine months earlier than expected. Our designs included a number of highly efficient features such as heat recovery systems, LED lighting and PIR lighting controls.
The completed 4* hotel comprises 195 rooms and suites, restaurant and bar, high-specification kitchens, back-of-house staff facilities, and a basement level plantroom. The 4,155ft² on-site health club comprises a large indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam rooms, gym and full-service salon. A 3,800ft² function and conference suite is equipped with sophisticated audio-visual kit, Wi-Fi, and the capability of operating as one single room or five discreet meeting spaces.
