AUDLEY Inglewood House
Having enjoyed a very long and illustrious past that pre-dates the Domesday Survey, Inglewood House was painstakingly rebuilt in 2012. The beautiful façade remained largely untouched throughout these works, which were completed in the first phase of the development. It was during this stage that the main house was developed to accommodate Audley’s trademark ‘club’ facilities including the restaurant and bar, gym, swimming pool and library.
We were appointed for phase 3 of the project, creating full mechanical, electrical and public health services designs for four new accommodation blocks, with SAP calculations for each of them. The blocks sit within the vicinity of the main house and are made up of a combination of self-contained apartments and cottages.
There is no gas supply to the entirety of the 39-acre estate so our designs included ground source heat pumps, extracting heat from the ground to supply each of the 35 individual residences with heating and hot water.
