AUDLEY St Elphin's Park
Following a painstaking restoration, St Elphin’s House has been revitalised, and the listed Victorian building is now at the heart of this luxury retirement village. The project was spread over six phases and includes the redevelopment of the main House, as well as new-build apartments and cottages.
We were appointed to design the mechanical, electrical, public health and lift engineering solutions for the final four phases of this scheme. To maximise all possible cost / energy saving opportunities for the client, our designs included LED lighting throughout as well as sympathetically positioned photovoltaic cells.
The village is made up of over 100 one- and two-bedroom apartments, cottages and mews primarily in the new-build blocks. The House itself forms the central hub of the village, accommodating the communal facilities: restaurant, bar / bistro, health club, swimming pool and library.
We continue to act as Audley’s representative, monitoring the contractor’s works and witnessing / commissioning on site.
