Having out-grown their previous office, global payment network provider Earthport, has leased new space on the 5th floor of the mixed-use property at 140 Aldersgate.
We were appointed in a high-level monitoring role, working in close contact with the contractor to ensure compliance with Employer’s Requirements. Our design responsibilities comprised the CatB fit-out of the 10,763 ft² space, creating a flexible and modern office environment. In close collaboration with the interior designers we developed a primarily open-plan office, with clusters of meeting rooms, huddle spaces and quiet work areas.
Our mechanical and public health services designs include ventilation systems, heating and cooling services, domestic hot and cold water, and sprinklers. Our electrical schemes provide small power and IT infrastructures throughout the floor. Cooling and small power provisions were also supplied to the client’s comms room. Energy efficient LED light fittings were used to indicate the soft-zoning of areas on the office floor.
