SVM Consulting Engineers shortlisted for CIBSE 2017 Awards
30th November 2016
Following another demanding and rigorous application process, we are pleased to have been shortlisted for CIBSE’s Building Performance Consultancy of the Year 2017 award.
This award recognises the consultancy that has demonstrated an outstanding contribution to the design or refurbishment of buildings to meet client expectations, including occupant satisfaction, comfort, and energy performance throughout the operating life.
2017 will be the tenth anniversary of CIBSE awards, celebrating engineering excellence in the built environment. Over the years the awards have evolved to reflect changes in how building performance and best practice is defined, and the new Building Performance Consultancy category reflects this progression. This award recognises companies who don’t just deliver sound building services solutions but who also understand the holistic impact on post occupancy building performance.
As one of the most hotly-fought categories, applicants for this award have been entered into one of three categories; SVM Consulting Engineers are in the shortlist of five for the up to 100 employees category.
Our directors – Mark Sansom, Paul Rushmer and Robert Keane – said “We are very proud of how fast SVM is moving and how much we’ve achieved since last year. To be shortlisted in this way is a fitting recognition of how hard our teams have worked.”
Of the many projects we have worked on during the period determined by this year’s awards, we chose to highlight our work on the following for our application:
Battersea Power Station; Phase 4a
V&A: Members’ Lounge
Sponsored by SIG, winners will be honoured at the CIBSE Building Performance Awards gala dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, 7th February 2017, where England Rugby legend, Matt Dawson will be hosting the evening.
