Imperial Wharf

Residential & Commercial Development

SVM was commissioned by St Georges to provide mechanical and electrical engineering support for this project which is one of the largest mixed use and tenure developments in the UK.

St Georges wanted this to be the best and most attractive development in the country. This is not restricted to the aesthetics of the buildings as the surrounding landscape is also receiving detailed attention to create the right environment. SVM was involved in providing lighting concepts that complement the architecture and contribute to the atmosphere required for this development.

SVM was delighted to be a member of the design team working on such a prestigious project for a highly successful and active client.

The Developer, St Georges, invested in the region of £400 million in the 32 acre site in Fulham, adjacent to Chelsea Harbour.

This development provided over 1600 residences, from £1-2 million comfort cooled apartments to low income social housing and student accommodation. A number of penthouse suites and town houses are also be available.

In addition to residential housing there is a 175 bed hotel, leisure centre with swimming pool, speculative offices and various commercial centres with restaurants and retail outlets. A vast seven acre naturally ventilated car park for over 1000 cars was constructed beneath the structure.
