Deloitte LLP - Birmingham

Deloitte LLP's Birmingham office move, from Victoria Square to the newly regenerated area at Brindley Place, was one of the largest office moves in the city in 2000.

The award winning building at 4 Brindley Place is fitted out to a category A specification with raised floors, 24-hour security and an air distribution system using the raised floor as a plenum.  Lighting throughout has presence detection at each fitting and a photo sensor that dims the luminaire to the required lux level.

SVM has worked for many years for Deloitte LLP at their head offices in London so it has a detailed knowledge of the client's needs and expectations.

SVM was appointed to design the building services scheme for Brindley Place including a silver service kitchen area, cafe, automated filing store and an impressive reception area based in the atrium core.  This was in addition to the regular provision of M&E design for office accommodation.

This development will be a benchmark for client's standards for open offices, using cutting edge designs.
