Cutlers Gardens

Cutlers Gardens is a complex of eleven new and refurbished buildings providing high specification office accommodation for blue chip companies. The estate is in a prime location being only a couple of minutes from Liverpool Street Station.

The buildings, which were originally Victorian warehouses, were tastefully refurbished to a very high specification in the 1980's. The new buildings are in the same style and to the same high standard. The site is secure with private gardens and only emergency vehicles are allowed to the estate. Approximately 3,000 people work within the offices.

The buildings range in size from 5,000 sq ft over 3 storeys, to 100,000 sq ft over 10 storeys.

SVM was appointed by Knight Frank, the managing agents for Cutlers Gardens, to co-ordinate project work and manage the building services' maintenance throughout the estate. One of the first tasks involved a complete maintenance audit.

A paper based management system was previously being used and a major task for SVM, with its experience of ppm procedures, was to implement a computerised system with a responsive help desk.

Such a prestigious site needs to be well maintained and part of SVM's appointment included managing the 15 maintenance contractors currently on site.
