The Witchery by the Castle

The refurbishment of this famous luxury hotel and restaurant was greatly determined by the need to preserve the internal fabric of the building.  Attention to fine detail and cost effective solutions combined to maintain the historic style of this popular Edinburgh Landmark. 

SVM was engaged on all mechanical and electrical services including electrical services, emergency lighting, fire alarm and ventilation design of the existing restaurant.  Latest technology LED emergency lighting with remote gear packs and very small light source were used throughout to minimise the effect when not in use and enhance the building's historic character.
