Senior Facilities Engineers
We are looking for engineers, either mechanical or electrical, who have experience of working in the field of facilities management. The main purpose of these roles will be the provision of engineering FM advice to clients and management of FM and installation projects.
Applicants must be able to manage and enthuse engineering staff in the planning and execution of the projects. They must be prepared to take ownership of projects with regard to their technical and financial success.
Experience of facilities management for engineering services in large buildings is important, as is the need for good oral and written skills.
These are key roles and provide and opportunity for engineers to increase their skills and experience within a well established engineering consultancy.
In addition to the above, other duties will include:
- Preparing FM and Capital Works tender documentation
- Auditing FM Contractors
- Surveying building services and provision of condition reports
- Developing close links with clients and managing contracts effectively
- Liaison with clients, other members of the design team, suppliers and contractors
- Developing capital works design proposals at sketch, detail and production stages
- Preparing reports
- Determining project strategy
- Complying with QA
The ability to design to screen using AutoCAD would be a distinct advantage.
