Principal / Senior Mechanical & Facilities Management Engineer
We are currently actively searching for a Principal / Senior Mechanical Engineer to fill a role with one of our Blue Chip clients due to expanding project requirements.
Suitable candidates should be of a high professional calibre, preferably chartered, with several years postgraduate experience in the design of building engineering services. You must be able to identify with the client's needs and objectives in order to provide cost effective solutions. The right candidate must have experience with Facilities Management and environmental credentials. Experience in sustainability issues would also be beneficial.

These are key roles and applicants must possess the confidence and ability to attend and contribute well at client meetings. Previous project management experience is essential, together with enthusiastic and proactive attitude. Part of your role would be to mentor less senior engineers and assist in their development:
In addition to the above, other duties will include:
- Responsibility for financial and technical success of projects
- Liaising with clients, design team members, suppliers and contractors
- Preparing and overseeing the preparation of tender documentation
- Managing contracts on site
- Undertaking site surveys
- Complying with QA
- Developing design proposals and undertaking design calculations
