Intermediate Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
Due to rapid company growth and increasing demand for good professional skills, we are currently looking for Intermediate Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. Suitable candidates should have established design skills, with a minimum of three years post qualification experience. You should preferably be chartered or working towards chartered status. The ability to make a valuable contribution to the design process along with a commercial awareness, is essential.
These are key roles and provide an opportunity for engineers to increase their skills and experience within a well established engineering consultancy.
In addition to the above, other duties include:
- Receiving and understanding the requirements of the design task from clients and architects.
- Undertaking design calculations
- Developing design proposals at sketch, detail design and production stages, from concept to completion.
- Liaison with clients, other members of the design team, suppliers and contractors as necessary.
- Preparing tender documentation
- Preparing drawings using AutoCAD
- Undertaking site surveys/inspections
- Preparing reports
- Complying with SVM QM and other procedures and policies
Other duties include assisting in other departments and areas when the needs of the business require and development work on systems and procedures to assist in the efficient design of future projects.
